Pompano Beach lives on the water — from the Hillsboro Inlet and the Intracoastal Waterway to the pier and miles of canals. That waterfront lifestyle is exactly what invasive iguanas exploit. They burrow into seawalls and canal banks, nest in waterfront landscaping, and sunbathe on docks and patios. The result is erosion, structural damage, and a constant mess where you should be relaxing.

## Why Iguanas Are a Problem in Pompano Beach

Waterfront homes along the Intracoastal, the canals off Harbor Drive, and the marina districts give iguanas ideal burrowing ground. Their tunnels run deep under seawalls and docks, creating voids that weaken structures from below and accelerate erosion. On land, they devastate gardens and landscaping, foul pools and patios with droppings, and nest in anything soft — mulch beds, planters, even boat covers. One nesting season can turn a few visitors into dozens of new hatchlings on your property.

## Iguana Removal Services in Pompano Beach

Iguana Jones Removal Service specializes in humane iguana trapping, seawall burrow closing, egg removal, and waterfront property protection across Pompano Beach. Seawall and canal-bank work is a core specialty: active burrow systems are identified, eggs are removed before they hatch, and tunnels are closed using techniques proven in South Florida soil. Residential, condo, and commercial waterfront properties all get plans built around their specific shoreline and layout.

## How It Works

It begins with a free assessment of your property and shoreline. A trained technician maps iguana activity, nesting sites, and burrow systems, then explains the plan in plain terms. Where safe, quiet air rifles provide fast, humane, silent removal — the industry standard. Around docks, glass, and occupied areas, live traps, nets, and capture systems are used instead. Because iguanas are an invasive species, Florida law prohibits catch-and-release; removed animals must be euthanized humanely.
